WHY I BUILT THIS
I am a collector first, and I know other collectors need this too.
I love the hunt, the artwork, the different releases, and the history carried by every VHS tape and case. A worn rental sticker, alternate sleeve, or handwritten label can make one VHS copy feel completely different from every other edition on the shelf.
As my own collection grew, I wanted a better way to catalog the exact editions I owned, remember where they came from, and understand what the collection might be worth. I knew I was not the only collector piecing together spreadsheets, photos, recent sold listings, and memories just to understand what I owned and what it could be worth.
That shared need became MediaVault. EverythingCRB grew around it because the community deserves more than another list of titles. I want to give collectors a platform where they can manage exact editions, research recent sales, track collection value, preserve their stories, and see the full worth of the shelves they worked hard to build.
